Louis Moore is a community activist and citizen advocate who lives in Garland, TX, the 87th largest city in the U.S., the 12th largest in Texas, and the 2nd largest in Dallas County. A veteran, professional journalist Moore has written for dozens of newspapers and magazines across the United States but most notably for the Houston Chronicle. Now retired, Moore works diligently to make Garland—a racially, economically, and culturally diverse city—a better community for ALL its citizens.
